Doseline is in active development and is not yet generally available. This page describes what we are building and the problem it addresses. We are talking to clinics, care teams, and pharmacies who want to shape it — and we would rather hear from you now than after the design is set.
The problem
Between two appointments, a prescriber has almost no visibility into whether a patient took their medication. The conversation at the next visit relies on recall: how has it been going? — a question people answer optimistically, and often inaccurately, without meaning to mislead anyone.
The consequences compound quietly. A regimen that appears ineffective may simply be a regimen that was never followed. Doses get escalated in response to a problem that was actually a missed alarm, a confusing schedule, or a side effect the patient stopped taking the drug over and didn't mention. The information needed to tell these apart exists — it just never reaches the clinician in a usable form.
What Doseline does
Doseline creates one record that both sides can see. The clinician enters the regimen once. The patient gets a schedule on their phone and confirms each dose as they take it. The care team sees what actually happened, in time to do something about it.
Regimen, entered once
The prescriber defines the medication, dose, timing, and duration. No transcription by the patient, and no ambiguity about what was intended.
Confirmation, not self-report
Patients confirm doses as they take them, on a schedule that matches the prescription — rather than reconstructing three weeks from memory in a waiting room.
Adherence the team can see
A clear view per patient and across a caseload: what was taken, what was missed, and when the pattern started changing.
Flags that mean something
Attention is directed at sustained deviation from the regimen, not at every individual late dose. The goal is fewer alerts that matter more.
A reason attached
When a dose is missed, patients can say why in one tap — side effects, ran out, forgot, felt better. Context that changes the clinical response.

How we're approaching data
Medication data is among the most sensitive information a person has, and a B2B health product has to earn access to it. Our position is that patients should be able to see everything recorded about them, that data is shared with a named care team rather than an unbounded organisation, and that nothing is sold or used for advertising — the model we already apply across our consumer apps.
Doseline is designed as a record-keeping and communication tool for patients and their care teams. It is not a medical device, it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not intended to replace clinical judgement or direct contact with a healthcare professional.
Regulatory posture, data processing agreements, and jurisdiction-specific compliance are being established as part of development. We will publish specifics rather than claims, and we're happy to discuss requirements directly with prospective partners.
