Plantive
Point your camera at a plant. Find out what it is, and what it needs.
Plantive is a plant identification and care app for iPhone. Take a photo and it tells you what you're looking at in seconds: houseplants, flowers, trees, leaves, succulents. Identification is the easy half, though. The half that keeps a plant alive is knowing what to do next, so every result comes with care guidance for that species: how often to water, how much light it wants, and what basic care it needs through the year.
It's built for the moment you bring a plant home and have no idea what it is, and for the moment a few weeks later when the leaves start yellowing and you'd like a straight answer. Beginners get a starting point that doesn't assume any horticultural knowledge. People with a windowsill full of plants get one place to keep track of all of them.
What's in the app
Identify from a photo
Point, shoot, and get a name in seconds: flowers, trees, leaves, succulents, and houseplants alike.
Care that's specific
Watering intervals, light requirements, and general care notes for the actual species, not generic houseplant advice.
Guides
Readable background on the plants you own: how they grow, what they tolerate, and what usually goes wrong.
Your garden
Keep every plant you've identified in one collection, so the whole windowsill is in one place.
Why another plant app
Most plant identifiers stop at the name. Plantive treats the name as the beginning of the answer. The useful output is a watering interval and a light requirement you can act on this week. It's free, it's built natively for iPhone, and like everything else we make, it has no ads and no feed.
